Wing Commander Prophecy
The last of the Wing Commander series of games featuring the exploits of Christoper Blair (the character you play in the game, acted by Mark Hamill).
What set this one apart from the rest of the series is the use of hardware acceleration. Never before has space combat looked this good (for the time). Playing this on my dual VooDoo 2s was unbeliveable. The sight of mass driver cannons causing a shockwave when an enemy ship explodes, brought a tear to my eye. Eye candy galore. I want more.
