I never bought this back when it was released. Man I should have. I think at the time, I didn't have a beefy enough machine. I may play some more of this one sometime.
Basically, this game builds upon the 3D 1st person engine seen in Ultima Underworld. Set in the future, you play a hacker hired to stop a rouge AI called SHODAN. The CD-ROM version of this game adds some FMV, and the ability to run the game at up to 640x480.
