Boxing game where you play as the young boxer little Mac who works his way up the ranks and eventually takes on Mike Tyson himself. This game was released back when Iron Mike was the World Heavywieght Champion. He was a seemingly undefeatable force back then. But when Mike lost his crown, he also lost his way and ended up in jail. Nintendo then re-released this game as just Punch Out!! and replaced Mike with a generic character. I spent many hours trying to figure out how to beat each boxer in this game. I remember the joys of figuring out how to beat King Hippo and Soda Popinski. Mostly this is a game of memorization and quick reflexes. It still holds up well even to this day. The very cartoon style graphics though now very retro, still seem nifty to me.
